Don't forget your bottle water

Summer is approaching, and we will be enjoying the sunshine and outdoor activities. Be sure to fill your body with adequate fluids!  In general, a healthy adult needs 8-12 cups of water a day to replace the fluid lost through sweat, breathing, urination and bowel movements.  In order to keep your body working properly, these fluids must be compensated to prevent dehydration. The exact fluid requirement depends on: age, gender, weight, foods eaten, health condition, physical activity level, any medication taken and the weather. Most of your total fluid intake comes from beverages of all kinds, including tea, water, coffee, milk, juice etc. Fluids also come from the foods we eat (for example: fruits and vegetables). Make sure to carry a bottle of water with you at all times.
